To Pico’s dismay and my intense relief we did not make the cut to appear on the Letterman show. Pico had some great jumps, and I was worried we’d be chosen, but our friends Scott and Reggie and Joann and Rebel were selected. And I must say it was the best possible choice!

As far as I’m concerned, I had all the fun, and none of the terror. As far as Pico is concerned, there was not nearly enough jumping for her tastes. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and we had a great time. I left Letterman laughing and with a smile on my face that stayed all day. I felt kind of bad for my coworkers and friends who stayed up to watch Pico’s 15 seconds of fame, but I would not have changed a single thing about that day.

Pico’s been jumping so well I’m thinking of heading straight to Michigan after the LOTP agility trial this weekend, for the Battle Creek Dock Dogs event. Pico hasnt been to an event in months, but she’s looking great in practice so I’m eager to see how she measures up!
