Pico got her first agility title on Easter Sunday. She got the third leg needed for her novice standard title. She did it in three straight runs too!

She did not Q in jumpers with weaves, because I pushed her around the correct jump and into the tunnel. I’m still not used to how responsive she is!

We’ve got a trial this weekend, and next but I havent entered anything beyond that. I’m not sure how much more AKC I want to do at this time, I think it’s time to venture back to USDAA so I can work on getting her qualified for nationals in the fall.

Another reason to do USDAA, I really hate spending the day at agility trials, and with AKC you are stuck there all day. If I’m going to be at a trial all day, I want it to be for more than two classes. Yes, there is the FAST crap, but I have zero interest in reading the rules or running in it at this time. Maybe I’ll change my mind down the road!
