No, not Pico! But Pico’s friend Nutmeg jumped 30 feet on her first jump at the Incredible Dog Challenge Eastern Regional in Harrisburg PA this weekend. And she did it without a practice jump! Unfortunately, I was on line waiting to jump, so I didnt get to see it, all I heard was the roar of the crowd. I did get to see her next jumps, which tied and BROKE her own record! Nutmeg was incredible and I feel lucky to have witnessed her performance!

Pico’s performance was not too shabby either! She made it into finals and finished in third, behind Nutmeg and Bella.

Pico’s vertical jumping style is not the ideal for IDC events, but who cares when you are treated the way you are at these events! We were treated like royalty, wined and dined, given gift bags and money for travel expenses. We even got big thick towels to dry the dogs off with, as soon as we got off the dock.

Needless to say, I’m hoping for another invitation next year!
