Will be the Incredible Dog Challenge, on November 19th, in Harrisburg PA.

Pico has never competed at an Incredible Dog Challenge, but Granite has. They measure differently than Dock Dogs. The dog’s distance is recorded from the nose, not the base of the tail as in Dock Dogs. I’m not sure how well Pico will fare under that measuring system, as she enters the water vertically, with her nose basically right over her butt. Granite, who jumps in a stretched out position, got scores in the 22 foot range, which is much farther than his Dock Dogs scores.

I am really looking forward to this event. From past experience I can say that the people from the Incredible Dog Challenge treat the competitors like kings! It’s top notch all the way and it should be a lot of fun, no matter how we do!
