Pico finished third in Harrisburg, to two superb and accomplished dogs, Reggie (1st) and Nutmeg (2nd). She had a lot of good jumps, her best was 23′02″. The rest fell mostly in the 22 foot range.

Pico and I rushed home from Winneconne to compete in an AKC Tracking Test in New Paltz, New York this weekend. Early this morning, Pico passed her Tracking Dog test, tracking like a pro through the pouring rain and adding the letters TD to her name!

Holy cow! Pico pulled out all the stops and turned in one after another personal bests, topping out in the final round with a jump of 25′2″ and earning her Elite Jumper title in the process. Pico is on the road again, heading to the Mercury Pro-Am Regional in Winneconne, WI for a Dock Dogs event.
